THE PRESBYTERY
OF THE ASCENSION
CHURCH PLANTING
The Presbytery of the Ascension, in cooperation with area PCA
churches, is seeking to plant a church in the rapidly growing
corridor north of Pittsburgh, PA. Jackson Township, a desirable
bedroom community, encompasses the boroughs of Zelienople,
Harmony, and Evans City in southwestern Butler County, PA.
We are currently seeking to recruit a church planter to lead this effort. For more information, please check out our profile -- https://www.pcaac.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/ChurchPlanter_AscensionPresbyteryPA.pdf
We meet at Evans City Fire Hall
124 N Jackson St, Evans City, PA 16033
Do you have a heart for the people living and moving into the Cranberry Township region? (2030 estimated population 50,000) Do you long to see a gospel-centered, covenantal and reformed church planted that will reach people and disciple new believers?
We have been praying and believe now is the time to begin the work of forming a core group for the spiritual foundation of a new PCA church in the North Cranberry area including the boroughs of Evans City and Zelionople, PA.
We need your help! Will you help us spread the word? Will you pray for this new church planting effort? Will you be involved in the weekly Bible study and also invite others to participate?
A weekly Bible Study (gospel of Mark) and Prayer Group will begin meeting this September on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm.
